Polar Loop activity tracker has the best heart rate data, most comfortable chest strap and a lockable band says the Heart Rate Watch Company.
Polar Loop activity tracker has now been tested daily for two months by the Heart Rate Watch Company with good results.
“Both Tarie Beck and myself have tested the Polar Loop, with Tarie testing it for over two months of daily use,” says Rusty Squire, President of the Heart Rate Watch Company. He adds, “There are several unique features of Polar Loop like LED backlight, heart rate and the locking wrist band that make it more reliable than the vast majority of other activity trackers.”
LED Screen
“The LED is very readable thanks to large font which makes this very user-friendly in dark rooms for spin classes but the LED washes out a bit in really bright sunlight,” says Squire. He adds, “You need to learn how to use the button, which requires light touches, sometimes multiple touches, on the top to advance and the bottom to activate the data.”
Heart Rate
“Nobody beats Polar for heart rate data,” says Squire. He adds, “We really like the fact that the Polar H7 works with gym equipment, your iPhone and is more utilitarian than any other activity tracker for all around usability.”
Calories
“Polar Loop is far more accurate on calories than any other activity band we have tested,” says Squire. He adds, “Polar has been doing their homework for decades in the human performance labs and has decades more experience VO2 testing than a lot of the recent entries like FitBit.”
Men Versus Women?
“We like the Polar H7 best for men and the Garmin Vivofit for women because it comes with a smaller band size which is a bit more flexible”, says Squire. He adds, “My wife like the Vivofit better and I like the Loop better.”
